USEFUL INFORMATION BEFORE AND DURING THE CONGRESS
AIRPORT TRANSFER CASELLE TURIN AIRPORT - ITCILO CAMPUS
If you have pre-arranged the transfer service from the Turin airport to ITCILO Campus, you will meet our Staff in the arrivals waiting hall, right after the Passport control (look for the ITCILO banner).
FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE CITY CENTRE - ITCILO CAMPUS
During the Congress, a free shuttle service is provided from the City centre to ITCILO Campus in the mornings and from the ITCILO Campus to the City centre in the evenings.
The meeting point in the City centre is in front of Hotel Majestic (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, no. 54), right on the opposite side of Porta Nuova Train Station.

REGISTRATIONS
Only participants who have signed-up for on the official website can attend the World Congress.
All participants need to register to enter the ITCILO Campus. Please note that you need a valid identity document to register.
Registration will take place on Tuesday, 4th September (from 11.00 to 17.00) and on Wednesday, 5th September (from 08.00 to 13.00).
Upon registration, participants will receive the badge and the Congress kit.

Please note that electricity in Italy is 220v/50Hz and it is highly recommended that you have an International Plug Adapter in order to use the Italian sockets. Also, if you wish to connect your laptop from your room, kindly get a network cable through the reception desk.

Connect your PC to the socket with this on the wall. If you cannot get an Internet connection, check:
On the Internet Protocol (IP) properties (Start – Control Panel – Network Connections, rightmouse on Local Area Connection – Properties – choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) – Properties) – tick“Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”.
On the Local Area Network Properties (start Internet Explorer then Tools – Internet options –Connections. LAN settings) – remove all ticks.

Useful Bus Lines Bus 45 runs on a limited schedule (not on Sundays) - bus stop just outside campus to Corso Bramante/Piazza Carducci (Metro towards Porta Nuova Railway station). Bus 34 runs from Via Ventimiglia (close to campus) to Piazza Carducci. Then Metro to Porta Nuova Railway Station. Does not operate on Sundays. Bus 35 runs from Via Genova (close to campus) to downtown, Porta Nuova railway station. Does not operate on Sundays. Bus 18 runs from Via Genova to downtown, near Piazza Castello, and arrives up to Porta Palazzo open market.
Tickets Bus and tram tickets are on sale at the Reception Desk (single tickets cost € 1,70), at newspaper stands and at tobacco shops. As soon as you get on a bus, please punch the ticket to validate it. Passengers with no valid ticket will be subjected to a fine.

OPEN-AIR MARKETS PORTA PALAZZO It is the biggest and cheapest open market in Turin and in Europe! How to get there: from Lingotto, take the Metro to Porta Nuova stop, and then take Tram n. 4 to Piazza della Repubblica.
CROCETTA Shops in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi, Corso L. Einaudi e Corso Galileo Ferraris. How to get there: take bus 45 at “Palavela” (direction piazza Carducci), get off at Molinette; take Bus 66 (direction Liceo Curie), get off at Ferraris Sud.
RACCONIGI Corso Racconigi How to get there: take Metro at Lingotto, get off at Racconigi stop.

SPEZIA How to get there: take Metro at Lingotto, get off at Spezia stop.
Open-air markets: they are open from Monday to Friday only in the morning (around 8.00 to 13.00) and on Saturdays all day long (from 8.00 to 19.00). On Sundays, markets are closed.
Other useful information Tax Refund: non-EU residents can get a VAT Tax Refund, but not every shop grants you this possibility - check beforehand - and the minimum purchase amount required is € 154,94.
