As CEO for WGPSN, Robin is responsible for leading the production services division (and largest division) of John Wood Group plc. Our new organisational structure reflects our strategic business focus and Robin is tasked with ensuring that WGPSN realises its vision of being the best company to work for and the best company to work with, focussing on continuous improvement.
Robin is dedicated to ensuring our new divisional organisation has the right business leadership, governance and level of localisation to align with our business strategy. Based in Aberdeen, Robin reports directly to Bob Keiller, Wood Group CEO and joins the Wood Group board of directors on 1st January, 2013.

Africa – Managing Director, James Crawford
As Regional Managing Director for Africa, James is responsible for all areas of business within the region from on-going operations to business development and growth. Our operations across Africa include a range of engineering, operations, maintenance and construction projects in Algeria, Angola, Chad, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda.
Based in Aberdeen, James reports directly to Robin Watson. James is also a member of the Group Ethics committee.

Americas – Managing Director, Derek Blackwood
In his role, Derek is responsible for the performance, growth and development of the WGPSN businesses in Canada, the USA, Latin America and the Caribbean. Derek is tasked with developing networks with key global customers, business partners and external consultants to develop our business in this region.
He provides operations, logistics, administrative, safety and financial support to the various business units within the Americas business.
Based in Houston, Derek reports directly to Robin Watson, WGPSN CEO.

Australia & Asia Pacific – Managing Director, Matt Gavin
As Managing Director for WGPSN’s business in Australia and Asia, Matt is responsible for the delivery of existing contracts and future growth in one of our most diversified operating regions.
The Australian portfolio includes brownfield EPC contracts with Esso, Woodside and QGC, maintenance contracts with Caltex and Melbourne Water and a variety of engineering and project services to clients based in Russia, India, Chad and Canada. The Asia portfolio includes maintenance services to clients in Singapore and the Philippines, and duty holder provision for Santos in Sangu, Bangladesh. Key operations hubs for these regions include Melbourne, Singapore, Perth and Brisbane.
Based in Melbourne, Matt reports directly to Robin Watson, WGPSN CEO.

Middle East & ERC - Managing Director, Dave Buchan
As Regional Managing Director for the ERC (Europe, Russia and the Caspian) and the Middle East, Dave will be responsible for all WGPSN operations across these regions, including the provision of engineering, operations, maintenance, construction and shutdown services to a variety of national and international oil companies.
Dave moves into this position on 1st April, 2013 and will be based in Abu Dhabi. He reports directly to Robin Watson WGPSN CEO.

UK – Managing Director, Dave Stewart
As UK Managing Director for WGPSN, Dave is responsible for the delivery of existing contracts and future growth in one of our largest operating regions.
The UK portfolio includes large integrated services contracts with Taqa, Talisman, Shell and BP and duty holder provision for Ithaca and Centrica. It also includes engineering and construction services to Total, CNR, EnQuest, Perenco and EOG, medium integrated support contracts to Dana, ConocoPhillips and Chevron, operations and maintenance support to Nexen and Premier and additional regional support operations in Glasgow, Runcorn and Hull.
Based in Aberdeen, Dave reports directly to Robin Watson, WGPSN CEO.

Ali’s function has three elements – Business Development, Business Acquisition and Key Customer Management. Human Resources Director, Richard Barnes
In his role as HR Director, Richard is responsible for supporting all of the people aspects of WGPSN’s business - namely, HR and training. A key focus for Richard is continuing business integration. He and his team will be working closely with the business to support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives of becoming the best company to work for.

In his role as Safety and Technical Services Director, George is responsible for WGPSN’s HSEQ, Global Enginering Network (GEN) and Strategic Resourcing.
Based in Aberdeen his direct reports include Jerry Boslem, Pat Delany and Steve Cobban. Also reporting to George and integral to our global service offering is our specialist service groups, ODL and AIG.

Strategic Projects Director, Richard Duff
This is a newly created position in the WGPSN Excom. Richard’s role combines operations management and functional support to help operations teams around the world to start up and improve delivery. Developing a consistent approach to how we start up on new contracts, support projects in need of assistance, and ensure the seamless establishment of new joint ventures and acquisitions will be key to his role. Richard will initially be based in Muscat, Oman, supporting our joint venture, Wood Group CCC Oman.
Tapping into the vast amount of energy and expertise in our global business Richard will harness this skill base to create virtual teams that can provide support to our contracts and projects wherever and whenever it is needed. He reports directly to Robin Watson, WGPSN, CEO.

As Information Technology and Systems (IT&S) Director for WGPSN, Luke is responsible for all aspects of IT&S projects and service delivery to WGPSN’s regional businesses and global functions.
Based in Aberdeen, Luke is also a key member of the Wood Group senior IT&S leadership team, reporting functionally to Derrick Wood and operationally to Duncan Skinner. In his role he will also work with the other Group divisions to deliver streamlined services across Wood Group.

Global Engineering Network (GEN) Director, Pat Delany
Pat is responsible for bringing together WGPSN’s engineering services and developing a global network of engineering capability. The GEN development plan targets the opening of new hub engineering offices around the world to access new skills, offer increased resource availability and tactically grow our global footprint.
The GEN team has developed sophisticated systems and work processes to deliver engineering “one way” in a global workshare framework and environment. Connecting our engineering centres with our operations teams, GEN provides us with the opportunity to deliver 24/7 engineering resources to our customers whenever and wherever they need it.
Pat is based in Glasgow and reports directly to George Brown, Safety & Technical Services Director.

Technical and HSEQ Director, Jerry Boslem
In this dual role Jerry is responsible for providing the functional support required by the regions to effectively deliver services to our customers, maintained by a safety culture that is second to none.
A key focus area will be providing the tools, procedures and network of people to ensure the integrity of our designs, safe execution of projects and continued operational excellence. Jerry will also focus on the facilitation of cross regional learning and provide collaborative input to bids and guidance on regulatory requirements specific to each region.

Strategic Resourcing Director - Steve Cobban
As Head of Strategic Resourcing, Steve will work closely with the HR team to strengthen our resourcing capability and build on the excellent work already achieved, linking resourcing with our busi-ness planning process.
If we are to be the best production services company to work for we will need to be the best at hiring and mobilising the right people to the right place at the right time. As such, Steve’s remit also includes co-ordinating the roll out of our global People Day process which examines the demand versus supply of resources from both an external and internal perspective.
Steve is based in Aberdeen and reports to George Brown, Safety & Technical Services Director.
