FIRM LEADERSHIP
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS DEVELOPING LEADERSFIRMWIDE PROGRAMSWe provide local office and firmwide leadership development,
coaching and sponsorship programs to our women lawyers
throughout the year. One of the most promising programs is
our Sponsorship Initiative for promising female and minority
attorneys at the senior associate or junior partner level. The
initiative matches each participant (“protégé”) with a formal
“sponsor”— a senior attorney who has an organic working
relationship with the protégé and has committed to helping
the protégé advance.

DID YOU KNOW?
Working Mother magazine named Husch Blackwell one of the 2018 “Best Law Firms for Women,” in recognition of firm policies and initiatives that promote leadership and work-life balance for women attorneys.
Husch Blackwell’s NextGen Committee is led by two women associates.
True North, Husch Blackwell’s enrichment series for women, examines the vital role women play in business, as well as the challenges they face in work-life management. The program encourages the firm’s women lawyers and clients to explore professional growth and build relationships.
True North’s educational and networking events are usually held in relaxed settings outside the office. Whatever the event — museum tour, inspirational breakfast, dinner theater, wine tasting — the casual atmosphere is condu-cive to sharing stories about work and personal lives. Connections among women are forged and strengthened.
By helping participants determine the professional and personal paths that best suit them, True North allows women to find their own “true north.”
