At the endwe had to spar with each other which is likea training fight. I had to fight Josh who I defeated. We had a lot of fun in judo.

On June the 20th we had a biology lesson with Mr. James Fox at Winchester Collegein the Science School. We all had to get there on time because he had a fun lessonplanned and we needed a lot of time to finish it. At first we talked about why youcannot have different blood types in your body because it would cause a chemicalreaction and kill you. Then Mr. Fox sliced his finger open so he could show us whathappens when you add different blood types or the same blood types together. Whenhe added the two opposite blood types there was a chemical reaction and the bloodclotted and shriveled up. But when he added the two of the same blood types theyjust joined together. Then we looked at some specimens of animals such as chicken, bat and a large squid. Their insides were not that pretty. Overall it was a fun lessonand we learnt some new things.

Crab wood is a really good forest. It is very ancient, about one thousand years old. Simon Woolley took us on a nature walk on June the 19th. It is also beautiful, and the best thing was the noises of the birds and colours of the petals. On ourway we saw lots and lots of different kinds of spiders, a beetle, a woodlouse and other insects. We also played a bitof hide and seek. The best part of the walk was when Mr.Woolley ate the woodlouse for a snack. At the end of the walk I got everyone’s opinion and all of them liked it andwished to live there.

Walk to Crab Wood

On 18th of June we wentto a barbecue atOakeshott’s (which is alsoSheehan’s house). Weate burgers, chicken, sausage and pepperkebabs. After that wewent to the back of thegarden and playedfootball with Mr.Broughton.
