While most of the solar manufacturers produce conventional solar modules , ViaSolis focuses on the production of power generating glass. PV glass can be easily turned into a solar power generating part of the building and help to meet building’s energy demand. In addition to façade and roof solutions, PV glass can be used to replace balcony balustrades, façade cladding, awnings and sunshades, roof integrated systems, etc.

The use of backside glass instead of polymer-based back sheet Edge-sealent technology
ViaSolis modules are produced by laminating PV cells between two glass sheets. The structure of same thickness glass determinate the zero-force in the PV cell despite external load forces that influence PV module during lifetime of it The use of the same material for both sides of PV module also means equal thermal extension of the encapsulation materials ensuring no cell breakage Glass/glass module has better cooling properties. The 1 C° decrease of module temperature increases the p-CI module efficiency of 0.42% Due to this tantamount material design, ViaSolis PV module withstands higher stress caused by fluctuations of temperature (day/night), heavy loads and strong wind.
