The leather goods and manufacturing industry itself is worth £1,493 million in 2019 with a 2.5% growth on the previous year.

Students study a wide range of subjects on their course:• Illustration & portfolio skills
• CAD, computer aided design & manufacture

Entry requirements.
• A typical offer is around BCC at A Level, DMM at BTEC or successful completion of a Foundation Art and Design course (or equivalent).
• You’ll be expected to have achieved GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
• The Foundation Study Framework could be an option for you if you may not meet the tariff points required for admission into your preferred three year course, or if you are making a significant change in terms of the subject you would like to study.
Integrated Foundation Year

The Integrated Foundation Year at the University of Northampton is an opportunity for you to successfully study a four-year version of the three-year degree without the standard entry qualifications, whilst gaining critical study skills.
