Who are you?Fold the card stock in 3, making a tent.
Use a dark marker to write your first name large enough that we can see it from a distance. (Write the name you want to be called)
**Please, do not write on any other side of the tent
Add a symbol to your card that represents you.
Be prepared to share out your symbol to the person next to you and something good about your summer.
Now Switch > You will switch with a person on your row. When you sit with the new person, introduce yourself and tell them the name of your original partner. Afterwards, discuss either the symbol or summer.

How will I be graded?
How will my Grade be calculated for my progress report or report card?
At the end of each grading period, your final grade will depend on your individual PI scores.
• A = All 3s & 4s
• B = All 3s & 4s with no more than two 2s.
• C = All 2s & up with no more than one 1.
• D = All 2s & up with two or more 1s.
• F = All 1s
• M=Missing—You were not present or, for some reason, did not complete the assignment. This will result as a 0 in jumpro.
• 0=Not Revisable—You were given an opportunity to complete the assignment, but did not do so in the time allotted (1 week) or you didn't attempt any problem on the assessment. This translates to a score of 0 in Jumprope.
• Notes on absences and makeups : If you are absent, do NOT wait until the next class session to check in! Check web site to stay informed about class lessons, view class notes, and assigned homework. You have a oneweek window to make up an assessment. If the Missing assignment is not made up within this time period, you will receive a score of 0 .

> Participation is NOT optional in this class. > Do not be afraid to get to know people, sometime it may surprise you what they know/ can do.> Our goal is to build a classroom culture where we get to know each other, know each other's names, work together and learn from each other. >Everyone here has something to offer and enrich us
