Provide timely and accurate around the clock weather intelligence and support to 3rd Wing and tenant units to facilitate Top Cover, Worldwide Airlift, and Combat Power
Projection.
Weather Flight Mission
· Observe weather 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
· Ensure accurate and timely forecasting services available to JBER
· Initiate resource protection actions· Issue Warnings, Watches and Advisories for
JBER
· Assist aircrew mission planning and execution across Alaska and worldwide destinations
· Assist wing leadership with mission execution and short, long-range planning
Mission Essential Tasks
· Deploy people and equipment worldwide to support 3 WG tasks and provide seamless peace to war transition
· Lead Weather Unit for JBER
