Advice to the Class of 2012
From the Class of 2024
Music, art, and wisdom provided by this year’s kindergartners.
You can be
happy at school.
Study hard.
Don’t be afraid of new students and new teachers.
Listen to the
teacher.
Be the best so your teacher will give you a star.
Be respectful to your teacher.
Speak up to the principal.
Don’t have a bad time.
Stay up late on Friday. Then you won’t be tired
for school!
Do your best
work. Don’t
scribble.
Read all the time.
Write a LOT.
Make good
choices.
Study hard, and do ALL your homework in college.
Be safe at school.
Bring a picture of your family to college so you won’t be sad.
Don’t be worried about your parents when you’re at college; do your job.
Be nice. Be gentle. Be safe. Be kind.
Be a good student.
Don’t forget your manners. (goodbye, thank you,
please)
Be a friend to have friends.
Ask people nicely to play with you. If they say no, walk away and ask someone else.
Say no to
bullies.
Don’t be a bully.
If someone doesn’t have a friend, play with them and be their friend.
Ignore someone if they are not kind.
Treat people nice.
Hey, dude! Be nice
to others.
Be nice to your sister so she will not get crabby.
Be nice when they’re sick.
Don’t be mean to
everyone. Be kind to
everyone in this whole
school.
See good places around the world.
Bring your skateboard.
Don’t get in strangers’ cars.
Be sure you know how to drive a car.
Don’t get pulled over
when you drive.
Eat healthy
food.
Eat apples to be healthy.
Be healthy, and exercise a lot.
Take care of
yourself.
Don’t smoke.
Do your best.
Save your money.
Pick a good house.
Have fun.
Learn how to do what grown ups do.
Skype with your family.
Try to be good.
Do what you are told the first time.
Don’t waste time.
Have fun!
Get money when you graduate.
You might move away soon, so make sure you listen to mom and dad now.
Your mom and dad will miss you. They won’t have you anymore.
Do your job.
Don’t be selfish.
Do not throw a fit on the way to school.
If you have a big day in front of you, don’t stay up late.
Don’t litter at the park.
Ignore mean things.
Don’t act like a clown.
Don’t be wild.
Don’t forget lower case letters.
Don’t forget spaces
between your
words.
Don’t get in people’s way.
Don’t tell lies or else you will go to jail.
Make new friends.
Work hard, and you will succeed!
You should get a job because they are fun and you can make more money!
Don’t pick the job your friend has. Do what you want.
Don’t be
mad.
Marry someone good.
If you want to build a house, that will be a lot of work.
Be a singer!
Take pictures of things you want to remember.
Be happy about yourself.
After graduation, give mom and dad a hug and some love.
Make good choices this summer--like helping your friends.
Go to the swimming pool this summer.
Save money.
Send your parents a
note when you
miss them.
Write letters to your mom and dad.
Take your time.
Work hard.
Stand tall.
Be yourself.
