Something to think about
• Water water everywhere! Why not draw pictures of how you use water at home and at school and think of ways to save that you can save it.
• Fun in the playground! – Fill a bucket with water and walk from one end of the playground to the other and see if you get tired…then imagine doing that every day!
• Write a poem describing how we use water differently to those in Africa.
• Get in groups of 4 and make up a song about water
Help families in Africa!
• Why not do some small fundraising activities to help families have clean water
• Fill a bucket full of pennies and send it to Self Help Africa
• Make a river of coins around the hall to remind people just how far children have to walk for water
• Have a “Non Uniform Day” and each pay 50p
