Prelude
Welcome
Worship Song
Lord, I Lift Your Name on High Founds
Lord, I lift Your name on high;
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.
Chorus You came from heaven to earth to show the way,
From the earth to the cross my debt to pay;
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Hymn #88
All Glory, Laud, and Honor VALET WILL ICH DIR GEBEN
Prayer of Confession Glenda Simpkins Hoffman
Gracious God, our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo. Forgive what our
lips tremble to name, what our hearts can no longer bear, and what has become for us a consuming fire
of judgment. Set us free from a past that we cannot change; open to us a future in which we can be
changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image; through Jesus Christ,
the light of the world.
Please request large-print hymnals from ushers. Assistive listening devices are available in the balcony from the Sound Technician.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Youthworks JUNE 27-JULY 2 For adults and current high school students. Participants will run a Kids Club―a hands-on afternoon program
offering high-energy games, crafts, skits, songs and interactive lessons all designed to help kids learn about
Jesus. We will also work alongside numerous social service organizations to support children’s ministries, the
elderly and the homeless.
UPSTATE NY - Ministry in the North Country (MINC) JUNE 27-JULY 3
For adults and current college and high school students. Participants build new roofs for mobile homes,
handicap ramps, install exterior insulation and vinyl siding, paint houses to prevent further deterioration of
existing siding, replace entrance stairs, shingle roofs, and replace windows.
VIENNA, VA - Local Missions Week JULY 5-9
For adults and current college, high school and middle school students. Local Missions Week will satisfy the
call to serve in “Jerusalem, Samaria, and the ends of the earth” by serving in our own backyard! Each day will
have a different focus, ranging from helping the homeless to assisting VPC’s student ministries.
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pittsburgh Project JULY 12-16
For adults and current 6th
-8th graders. Our VPC team will split into 4 or 5 groups, each of which will adopt a
resident to care for and a house to repair. Through this experience, you’ll bear witness to God’s great love for
all people and experience what it’s like to be Jesus’ hands and feet in the world.
PIGNON, HAITI JULY 14-23
For adults, college students and students who have completed 9th
-12th grade. Our activities at or in schools,
hospitals and orphanages will include construction and repair work, Bible Schools with children, and
recreation ministries for youth.
MON VALLEY, PA - Youthworks JULY 18-24
For adults and current high school students. Participants will partner with local ministries and facilitate a Kids Club―a hands-on program offering high-energy games, crafts, skits, songs and interactive lessons all designed
to help kids learn about Jesus. We may also partner with local organizations and serve in/at children’s
programs, elderly centers, soup kitchens/homeless shelters, and thrift stores.
NEW ORLEANS, LA JULY 23-AUG. 1
For adults and current high school students. Participants will work with a new YCM Restoration Project
designed to challenge students that being in Christ leads to doing the work of Christ. Restoration goes into a
local community and establishes relationships with ministries and individuals by partnering with that
community.
