Active learning is a process where learning is jointly shared between the student and the teacher. Studies have proven that students who are actively engaged with the material

are more likely to recall information later and be able to use that information in different

contexts .

Virtual Computing Lab (VCL)VCL provides dedicated remote access to a range of computing

environments for students to access computing and software applications

from any networked location.

After the pilot program ended students seemed to

be motivated to use computers in a whole new

way.
