Some “T” on the gas circuit supplying the small gaps in the GIF were attachedby the HF.
These “T” are made by poly-acetylic resins
These components are used in the chamber gas circuit. However an inspection of the components present inside the RB1s in operation in the GIF has not showed any damage
The use of moistly mixtures can accelerate the deterioration

A flux reducer has also been produced. It is needed to equalize the flux between the two gaps of a layer

Tests at ISR is increasingly requiring dedicated resources and manpower
A test trolley with 30 gas lines and 22 HV lines is in operation at CERN ISR
15 chambers can be fully read-out
A self trigger electronics will be soon installed to test cosmic rays performance
The gas system can provide up to 200 l/h flux with controlled humidity

•Review and freeze the installation schedule with the DT group in Aachen (end April) (any change is expecially harmfull for RPC)
•Boost the chamber test rate in Bari and Pavia
•Open “SX5 commisioning” front
•Continue up to end June GIF activity. Then probably concentrate on ISR and SX5
•Review in May the budget situation
•Review and freeze the installation schedule with the DT group in Aachen (end April) (any change is expecially harmfull for RPC)
