• 29 admitted MSRE students have either accepted or are pending. We are reviewing additional applicants.
• Average GPA (for last 60 hours of undergrad.) = 3.45 • Average GMAT = 600 • Average years of full time work experience = 3 years • These students have undergraduate degrees, and 4 already earned MBA or MS degrees, from
schools such as: o BYU o Cornell o Duke o E. Carolina o Flagler o FL A&M o Loyola o Naval Academy o Penn State o UCF o UF o Univ. of Kentucky o Univ. of Miami o Virginia Poly & St. o Washington and Lee o Weber State
• 23 are US citizens, and 6 are from other countries (China, India, Kuwait, S. Korea ‐ 2, Thailand) • 2 students are the children of Board members
Scholarship Status • We have already offered $73,000 from our private scholarship funds ($38,000 of which came from
Advisory Board members, with the balance from the Warrington College of Business Administration and an endowment from the Florida Association of Realtors) to in‐coming MSRE students
• Since the MSRE program requires prior work experience, these students are stepping away from full‐time employment and relocating to Gainesville for a year, so in addition to giving up that income, they have living expenses to cover, plus tuition:
o in‐state graduate tuition > $10,000 o out‐of‐state graduate tuition > $32,000
• Of the applicants to whom we have extended admission for the 2007‐8 year, 8 have declined, citing programs at MIT, NYU, Hoffstra, Cornell, and Wisconsin that offered more funding or full funding
