Giuseppe Arcimboldo
Giuseppe Arcimboldo was a 16th Century Italian painter
who is known for making paintings of fruit, vegetables, and flowers arranged to look
like a face!
Why do you think Arcimboldo decided to use fruit to make his
portraits?
Materials:

or flowers

You can photograph your food face and try creating
lots of different faces or even animals!
Have Fun!
Step 1Find some fruit and veg.
Step 2
Think about the shape of the fruit and vegetables.
What would make a good nose? Lips? Eyes?
Can you arrange these on your paper to make a face?
You could get someone to do this with you.
Step 3Once you are happy with your food face you can have a go at
drawing it.
Step 4 Add colour with colour pencils,
pens or whatever you have at home.
