Western Agriculture Department Awards Scholarships

On Wednesday, September 5, the Western Oklahoma State College Agriculture Department, Agriculture Advisory Board, faculty, staff, students and fam-ily came together to hon-or this year’s scholarship recipients.

Students had the chance to apply for agri-culture scholarships in the spring. If they applied, and had a 2.5 GPA or higher, they were eligible to receive a scholarship. The Western

Western Oklahoma State College released their Summer 2018 Honor Roll lists this week. A total of 104 students were named to the 2018 summer semester honor rolls at Western Oklahoma

State College, including 53 students named to the President’s Honor roll for earning an “A” grade in all of their courses. Full-time students who completed six hours dur-ing the summer semester

with a grade point average of 4.00 were placed on the President’s Honor Roll, and students with a 3.00 grade point average were placed on the Vice President’s Honor Roll.
