It is with heavy hearts that weannounce the passing of AndreJoseph Labbe . Andre’s tough, courageous battle withesophageal cancer ended the night ofJan. 1, 2016, while he was surroundedby family, at the Pincher CreekHospital at the age of 59 years old. He was diagnosed with esophagealcancer on February 4, 2015 and wasfighting a hard battle all the way to theend. Born on Aug. 15, 1956 in Sainte-Praxede, Quebec, Andre moved to theCowley, Alberta area in 1972 where hemet his beloved wife Nancy Labbe andthey were married July 19, 1986. They graced the world with threebeautiful children: Scott, Christopherand Stephanie. Their children have allmarried and have thus far graced
Andre and Nancy with two beautiful grandchildren, with one grandchild onthe way. Scott married Candace in September 2013 and they have two children,Jared and Maxie-Rae. Christopher married Zabrina in August 2014 andthey’re expecting their first child in March 2016. Stephanie married Shaun inOctober 2015. Along with his children and wife, Andre is survived by his three sisters;Carmen (Dino), Helene (Irenee) and Sylvie (Daniel); his mom Rejeanne; hismother-in-law Shirley, and father-in-law George. He’s also survived bynumerous nephews, nieces and extended family. Andre is pre-deceased by his dad Albert. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 atthe Snodgrass Funeral Home (1101 Main Street, Pincher Creek, Alberta)with Doug Rawling officiating. No flowers by request. If friends or family so desire, donations may bemade to The Windy Slopes Foundation - Palliative Care Unit of the PincherCreek Hospital, Box 2554, Pincher Creek, Alberta, T0K 1W0. NALDERWILLIAM (BILL) LOVE NALDERpassed away quietly on Monday,January 11, 2016. Bill was born December 18, 1919in Raymond, Alberta- the town helived in his entire life and loveddearly. He is survived by his threechildren: John (Jack), JeanneMcInelly, Billy and too numerousto count grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, all of whom heloved dearly. He was predeceased by hisparents Leland and Honni eNalder, and his wife Marva. Bill was educated in Raymond,he attended BYU as well as theUniversity of Alberta where hereceived his Degree. He servedhis Country proudly during WorldWar II, was an Educator for theWarne r Schoo l D i s t r i c t i nRaymond where he taught 4thgrade throughout most of hisca ree r . B i l l was a spo r t senthusiast - a staunch and proudsuppor te r o f the RaymondComets, a horse enthusiast and achampion Calf Roper. Bill was an active member of TheChurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - was a missionary,seminary teacher and he ldnumerous church jobs andpositions throughout his life. Heloved dancing, theatre and wasthe Master of Ceremonies ofchoice for many, many years fornumerous functions and eventsthroughout Southern Alberta. WALTON N A I D A R U B Y H A R D I N GWALTON, passed away onJanuary 9, 2016 on her 92birthday. She was born January9,1924 in Taber Alberta to EarlNobel Harding and Ruby RiceLyons. She was married to hersweetheart Leslie Kenneth Waltonin the Cardston Temple onSeptember 10,1947. Ken passedaway November 18, 2014. Naidais survived by her 5 children,David (Mary) Walton, Janet(Terry) Wolsey, Bryce (Sandra)Walton, Jim (LeAnn) Walton, andDianne (Jeff) Taylor. She is alsosurvived by her 32 grandchildrenand her 46 great grandchildren.Three of her siblings also surviveher, Fay Gibson, Lenord (Alice)Harding, and Don Harding. Raised in Taber, Alberta, Naidaspent most of her married life inCalgary. She had many talentsincluding singing, acting, paintingand quilting. She was a faithfulmember of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter-day Saints andover the years she served in manyc a l l i n g s i n c l u d i n g S t a k eRelief Society President, WardCho i r Leader , and TempleOrdinance Worker. She and Kenserved missions in India, andWashington D.C. Naida had a quick wit and a greatsense of humor and always foundtime to help others. She is lovedand will not be forgotten.
