Word from the PresidentDear Colleagues,
It is my pleasure, as President of the Belgian Heart Rhythm Association, to announce the 12th Belgian Heart Rhythm Meeting “Arrhythmias for every Cardiologist” to be held on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th October 2018.
Together with the Organising Committee, we did our very best to propose again an outstanding scientific event!
I look forward to welcoming you at the BHRM next October.
Dr Yves Vandekerckhove
Word from the Organising Committee
Dear Colleagues,
Each year, the BHRM gathers over 800 participants and, by maintaining the highest standards, offers to all cardiologists the opportunity to update their knowledge in ECG interpretation and in clinical rhythmology with the most recent scientific data and innovations.
The scientific programme, presented by a distinguished national and international faculty, focuses on daily management of cardiac arrhythmias. Besides, the 2018 congress includes socio-economic and radioprotection sessions, ECG courses for young cardiologists and teaching sessions for cardiovascular nurses.
Selected abstracts are presented in plenary sessions and during moderated poster sessions, highlighting the newest research in the field. The best of them will be awarded during the congress dinner on Thursday evening 4th October.
Be welcome to the 12th Belgian Heart Rhythm Meeting!
Dr Ivan Blankoff Dr Marnix Goethals Dr Georges H. Mairesse

The Belgian Heart Rhythm Meeting aims at sharing expertise on the various diagnostic tools and therapeutic possibilities available to practitioners when deciding upon which approach best serves arrhythmic patients.
Words from the Attendees• “This annual congress is a must for every cardiologist.”• “Great annual congress, also perfect education for the non-rhythmologist!”• “Excellent congress, as every year. Dynamism, link with the practice and very positive reception of questions by the experts.”

Autoworld Parc du Cinquantenaire 11 1000 Brussels (Belgium)
Autoworld is an ideal, particularly original venue in the heart of Brussels, located in the southern hall of the Cinquantenaire Park. This vintage car museum holds a large and varied collection of over 250 vintage European and American automobiles from the late 19th century until the seventies.
In 1880 the Belgians celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their independence. Léopold II’s driving ambition was to speed up Belgium’s urban development, and he found this date as an ideal pretext to organise a National Exhibition. Two buildings were designed for this Exhibition linked by semi-circular colonnades with an Arch of Triumph.
