The scheme is introduced to reduce traffic congestion and to provide adequate infrastructural facilities lacking in urban schools.
The first project taken up is located at Bambolim and will cater to the needs of most of the Panaji schools.
RAJIV GANDHI MERITORIOUS STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP
Cash Prizes of Rs. 4,000/-, Rs. 3,000/- & Rs. 2,000/- to the students standing 1st , 2nd and 3rd respectively in each Higher Secondary School in the Goa Board Examination.

WORK EDUCATION
Vocational and Pre-Vocational Schemes
Aimed at curbing dropouts and creating areas of self employability
15 Vocational courses in 45 Higher Secondary Schools.
Pre-Vocational courses started in 10 High Schools.
Work Education Under RMSA
Students were exposed to works of
professionals / farmers / artisans.
Students were trained in Horticulture /
Agriculture / Carpentry / Plumbing / Electrical
Repairs/ Pottery.
Both theory and practicals were given
importance.
