Niagara Falls is one of the World’s three biggest falls

Niagara Falls was named from Indian language, means “The Thor Water”. Before the Indians saw it, they heard continuing sound of thunder, and they considered this as the talk of Thor, so they called it ”Onguiaahra” (then called Niagara later).

Niagara Falls locates at the middle part of Niagara river at the border of Ontario in Canada and New York in US. It is considered as one of the World’s three biggest falls, together with Iguacu Falls at the border of Brazil and Argentina, and Victoria Falls at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
