The RTR is ideal for large steam boilers andhot water boilers with rectangular stacks -round exhausts will require optional stack transitions. When equipped with an optional
actuator, the internal gas bypass can be usedto temper the exiting gas for stack corrosion
control or maintain water temperatures whentoo much heat is available. The RTR has individual fin tubes compression fitted to theliquid manifold for ease of tube replacementrequiring no welding. Finned tubing material is available in stainless steel, carbon steel, 316 stainless tube and carbon steel fin or Al-Fuse with special fin spacings when specified. The RTR Series can be equippedfor use with cold water or condensing applications. In addition, the RTR can alsooperate on No. 6 fuel oil when equipped withan optional sootblower.

The RTR is ideal for large steam boilers and hotwater boilers with rectangular or square stacks (combustion sources with round exhausts willrequire optional stack transitions). Typical heatsinks include boiler feedwater, makeup water, hot water return, hot waterstorage tank, condensatetank, process water, andpotable water. The RTRSeries for combustionexhaust retrofit has fin tube material available instainless steel, carbonsteel, 316 stainless tubeand carbon steel fin or Al-Fuse with special finspacings when specified. The internal gas bypasscan be used to temper the exiting gas for stackcorrosion control, to maintain minimum exhausttemperature leaving the economizer, or tempermaximum water temperatures when too muchheat is available. The RTR can also operate onNo. 6 fuel oil combustion, but would require anoptional sootblower. The RTR has individual fintubes compression fitted to the liquid manifold, providing easy tube removal for inspection, cleaning or replacement, without any welding.

The RTR (Rectangular Tube Recovery) series can be usedfor large steam boilers and hot water boilers with roundstacks by using an optional transition adapter as shown.Heat sinks include boiler feedwater, makeup water, hotwater return, hot water storage tank, condensate tank,
process water, and potable water. Individual finnedtubes are compression-fitted to the liquid
manifold, providing easy tube removal forinspection, cleaning or replacement, without welding. The RTR Series can bespecified with stainless steel or carbonsteel finned tubing, 316 stainless tube andcarbon steel fin or Al-Fuse™ with specialfin spacings. With an optional modulatingactuator, the internal gas bypass can beused to temper the exiting gas for stack corrosion control, to maintain a minimumexhaust temperature leaving the economizer,or temper maximum water temperatureswhen too much heat is available. With anoptional sootblower, the RTR can also operate on No. 6 fuel oil combustion.
