For the weekend of February 14th, eight
brothers of the Gamma Lambda chapter went
down to Cleveland, Ohio to Case Western Reserve to
attend the annual Regional Conference. The main
purpose of Regional Conference is to help strengthen
up the executive board in numerous chapters. At the
start, the chapter stayed together
and learned where they were at in
the Borradaile challenge. Another
major thing done at the
conference was setting goals
for the fraternity that could be
brought back to the chapter to
seek improvement.
The Gamma Lambda
Letter
The mission of Phi Kappa Tau is to champion a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership and exemplary character.
The vision of Phi Kappa Tau is to be recognized as a leadership organization that binds
men together and challenges them to improve their campuses and the world.

After that, the participants took a leadership
inventory that placed each person into four different
leadership styles. From there, the brothers were
placed into groups and discussed the qualities of a
poor leader and an effective leader. After a nice
lunch break, the brothers broke up into executive
board positions where they had the opportunity to
talk to other executives from other chapters. Overall,
the conference was very knowledgeable for
brothers, and everyone learned a lot. Brothers from
Gamma Lambda included Matt Martin, Anthony
Cavataio, Jon Ferrer, Josh Alles, Austin Gildea, Nick
Waskiewicz, Collin Karcher, and Seve Moralez. A
special thank you to Baldwain Wallace for housing
these members of the Gamma Lambda chapter in
this great experience.

To represent the Gamma Lambda
chapter, Ellaine Ursuy was voted in
as the newest sweetheart!
The Gamma Lambda chapter is proud to announce
that the newest sweetheart is Ellaine Ursuy! Ellaine
is currently a senior majoring in communications
and integrative public relations. She is also a part
of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at Central
Michigan University, and she plans to work with
Greek InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as she was
recently hired.
To surprise Ellaine, on a Wednesday night,
February 19th, the brothers of the Gamma Lambda
chapter went over to the AGD house to surprise her
with her set of sweetheart letters. After all of thebrothers congratulated her with hugs and smiles,
Ellaine expressed her excitement to the brothers.
Phi Kappa Tau has always been the men on
campus I respect the most, have the best time
with, and love being around, she commented
about being sweetheart of the fraternity. She
then went on to say that being sweetheart of
this group of men is an honor and I wear the
letters with pride.
Congratulations again to Ellaine and the Gamma
Lambda chapter is privileged to have her as
sweetheart! Upon Ellaines request, if you would
like to contact or meet her, email her at
