• InTransit BC (ITBC) is a joint venture company equally owned by SNC-Lavalin (SNC), the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ), and the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC)
• To finance its capital contribution to the Canada Line project for a total amount of $720 million, ITBC raised equity from its three shareholders, arranged a debt financing secured over a 28-year term from its lenders
• ITBC also manages Canada Line’s ancillary activities, which encompass advertising, wireless networks, newspaper distribution, fibre optics, retail and a public art program
• InTransit BC was the 2009 recipient of the Gold Award for Infrastructure from the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships
