CBIP/BCFI promotes Rational Prescribing

Numerous definitions for rational prescribing have been suggested, but essentially it is a balancing act

that centres around four major components:

-Maximising effectiveness

-Minimising risk

-Minimising cost

-Respecting patient choice.
