The Asmat Essay: Tradition vs. Assimilation

The Asmat are tradition because they keep up their traditional ways by staying close to nature, warriors, and the assimilation schools are taught by white christian

men. The Asmat have also amazing piercing and painting tattoos. Also they are the last hunter gather cultures in the world.

The Asmat stay close to the nature and wear feather and necklace. The Asmat

protect their nature and they hunt food. They also wear their traditional clothing like they don’t wear no clothes. They have spears and arrow carrying with them. They collect

animal fur and they make clothing out of that , and make animal hat.

The Asmat are the warriors and still keep that as their tradition. The carry their spear and arrows as their weapons. They walk bare foot. They wear feathers on top of their head and they have piercing. They wear their piercing when they go to war

and ceremony. They mostly wear a big stone bone thing on their tip of their nose. The Asmat also fight for their forest and they barely wear clothes at the forest

Also the Asmat are assimilated schools are taught by white christian mes. So

Asmat are assimilated well some of them because some wear sunglasses, and wear American clothes. Some schools are taught by white christian men that teach Asmat

people. Some of the Asmat know how to speak English. Also some are Christianity and they are into church.

The Asmat are awesome for their own way for their traditional cultures. The

Asmat are traditional because they keep up their traditional ways by staying close to the nature, warriors, and the Asmat are assimilation schools are taught by white christian

men. Also they have amazing piercing and tattoos.
