TERM 4 - 2017
In this issue …. A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT ….
We are back on track - with only 5 months since the fire, the club is now well on its way to rebuilding and we are looking forward to 2018 and a new beginning. It is exciting to see the Wises road building taking shape, and also very exciting to announce that we have booked in Scotland's Commonwealth Games Gymnastics team to train in our new facility in March 2018. Congratulates to our MAG and WAG competitors last month with two awarded State Champions: Xavier Powell Level 3; and Louis Cooper Level 5. It is great to see that even with such a difficult year, kids are resilient and Maroochy Beach achieved fantastic results at this state level. Well done to all athletes and Coaches. Once again the future of Maroochy Beach Gymnastics is exciting. As we leave a tragic year behind us, the future is clear that as a club, Maroochy Beach Gymnastics will continue to provide a great service to the community and assist current and future members to achieve their goals.
I look forward to continuing to work with the MBG Management Committee in 2018 and hold great pride in this club and its future achievements.

With everything going as planned, all Term 1-2018 gymnastics classes will operate from the re-built
99-101 Wises Roads site. Despite the fire, there has been little change to the original building plans. The
completed gymnastics venue will be a modern and spacious training area for our athletes with a
mezzanine viewing area for families and spectators. The ground level will also accommodate our
administration office; canteen; gymnast waiting area and toilet facilities.
We thank you for your ongoing support throughout 2017 and look forward to your child’s continued
enrolment at Maroochy Beach Gymnastics Club in 2018 and beyond.
