TAX REFUNDUnited States Department of Treasury (IRS) News Release: June 13, 2008.

• Due to a very significant increase in food and oil prices, President Bush has instructed the Department of Treasury to issue a second Stimulus refund check in the amount no greater than 50% of the approved Economic Stimulus package.

• Average refund will be between $600 for a married couple, $300 for individuals, and $150 for each child.
