The month of April is dedicated to the Ho-
ly Spirit. To believe in the Holy Spirit is to
profess that the Holy Spirit is one of the
persons of the Holy Trinity, consubstantial
with the Father and the Son: "with the Fa-
ther and the Son He is worshipped and
glorified." (Catechism of the Catholic
Church)
The Holy Spirit is the Person of Love in the life of
God. He is also like a breath, an aspiration of infinite
Love, from which we draw the breath of life.
On the day of Pentecost the Divine Spirit communicat-
ed such an abundance of life to the whole Church that
to symbolize it "there came a sound from heaven, as of
a violent wind coming, and it filled the whole house
where they (the Apostles) were sitting."
But it is also for us that the Holy Spirit has come, for
the group in the Cenacle represented the whole
Church. The Holy Spirit came to remain with the
Church forever. This is the promise of Jesus Himself.
He dwells in the Church permanently and unfailingly,
performing in it without ceasing His action of life-
giving and sanctification. He establishes the Church
infallibly in the truth. It is He who makes the Church
blossom forth with a marvelous supernatural fruitful-
ness, for He brings to life and full fruition in Virgins,
Martyrs, and Confessors those heroic virtues which
are one of the marks of true sanctity.

Third Sunday of Easter After the resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples many
times, often sharing food with them. “They recognized him in the breaking of the bread” as the Gospel says this Sunday. Je-sus was not just making a point about his bodily resurrection; he was also making a point about community. The risen Jesus brings people together and they become the Body of Christ; We do not choose the members of the Body of Christ, we have been chosen, by the grace of God to belong. Like the disciples of the past, we are called to give witness to this by our lives. Is our love, our mercy and compassion, especially to the poor and vulnerable credible enough that everyone who sees us could tell that we are members of Christ’s body?

Attention Youth!
The Effects of the Sacrament of:
Holy Communion Receiving Holy Communion worthily brings us graces that affect
us both spiritually and physically.
Spiritually, our souls become more united to Christ, both through
the graces we receive and through the change in our actions that
those graces affect. Frequent Communion increases our love for
God and for our neighbor, which expresses itself in action, which
makes us more like Christ.
Physically, frequent Communion relieves us of our passions.
Priests and other spiritual directors who counsel those who are
struggling with passions, especially sexual sins, often urge fre-
quent reception not only of the Sacrament of Confession but of the
Sacrament of Holy Communion. By receiving Christ's Body and
Blood, our own bodies are sanctified, and we grow in our likeness
to Christ In fact, as Fr. John Hardon points out in his Modern
Catholic Dictionary, the Church teaches that "A final effect of
Communion is to remove the personal guilt of venial sins, and the
temporal punishment [earthly and purgatorial] due to forgiven sins,
whether venial or mortal." https://www.thoughtco.com/the-sacrament-of-holy-communion-542131
Quiso dejar-
verdaderamente alimenten nuestras vidas.
