Our project ‘College Management System’ welcomes you in the sky of MIT and its services arena.
In this project, Administrator should be able to enter Student information.
Administrator can enroll Students for predate course.
Our project is on College Management System. Our grateful acknowledgement is expressed to our teachers for technical support.
Special thanks to our guide Mr. as well as the library of MIT for encouragement. Guidence and valuable advice in order to make this project is a success one.
We expressed our healthful thanks to also our faculties & Mr. for their co. operation and supports.
Finally we would like to offer a special thanks to our entire friend who encouraged us during this project.
The main objective to develop the Project is to boost the students to enroll for predate course of MIT. By coordinating with the concerned activities and simultaneously providing some additional facility for other things like various courses offered by MIT, their related information like duration, fees etc.
Preliminary investigation revealed the following main works required: -
Login Page for the authorized user.
Registration Form.
We are going to use:-
Java (Front End)
MS-SQL Server (RDBMS)
RAM - 128 MB
HARD-DISK SPACE – 500 MB (MIN)
OPERATING SYSTEM - WINDOWS
XP Professional
PROCESSOR - P IV
SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND THEIR PHASES
System Analysis refers into the process of examining a situation with the intention of improving it through better process and methods. System Analysis is therefore, a process of gathering and interpreting facts, diagnosing problem and using the information to recommend “The Information System”. Before computerizing a system, the existing system should be analyzed properly. We
need to study how it functions currently, what Problems and Requirements are proposed that should be met.
Phase 1: Study of the current system conducted regarding the functions performed in the College.
Phase 2: Feasibility study of the problem solutions to get the most feasible solution.
Phase 1:-System Study-
System study phase completed or documented after analyzing the College environment.
The College Management System Project in general provides the following facilities:
Courses Details
Student Registration Information
Student Admission Information
Phase 2:-
Feasibility study-
After studying all the problem solution for the College feasible solution was decided on the basis of:
HARDWARE FEASIBILITY
This project needs one computer PENTIUM-4 processors. The memory requirement is 128 MB RAM.. This is very feasible in this perspective.
SOFTWARE FEASIBILITY
This project can be loaded on any of the system having any of the Windows operating system.
OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY
The project is easy to maintain and use. So there is no need of special training for the maintenance staff. There will be no resistance from the user side.
TECHNICAL FEASIBILITYPoints in concern with the technical feasibility of our proposed system-
The technology i.e. hardware and software which we have used is normally
available. It is easy to implement.
Our system is capable for up gradation account to users demand within the
budget.
Since our system proposes all the necessary technical resources so it is
technically feasible.
The system is easy to maintain and very attractive for user.
ECONOMICAL FEASIBILITY
Hardware and software cost evolved is not too costly.
The technology used for the implementing the system is less expensive.

As far as we concern about the future Scope of the project is
1) We can enhance any module as per the requirement which will
Come in picture.
2) We can add some new modules also for improvement and later optimization.
In developing this project College Management System some references has also been taken from various books.
Some of those are listed as follows:-
The Complete Reference JAVA (Herbert Schildt)
MS-SQL Server (Microsoft Press)
At last our special & heartiest thanks goes to our guide, Mr. (faculty of College) and also Mr. for their all valuable & inspirable help as reference.
