Our new club website was launched this week along with a new web address www.ripplesstmarys.swimming.org.au.
There are also new web addresses for Swimming Australia, Swimming NSW, Metro South West among others.
Please see page 8. We have been advised that a ‘redirection’ from all IMG websites will still be in place for some
time.
ONLINE CLUB NIGHT ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERED THROUGH THE NEW CLUB
WEBSITE with access on the Homepage and also under the COMPETITION /
Online Club Night Entries Menu.
The “ONLINE CLUB NIGHT ENTRIES” button on the homepage is not display-
ing at present but the hyperlink still works if you click on the blank box with ‘x’
it will still transfer you to the Online Club Night Entries page. This is a bug
which was fixed during the test phase but has presented again in the ‘live’
system. We hope that it won’t be too long before it is fixed.
Some of the internal website hyperlinks have been removed but will soon be connected to the live system pages. All
pages are still accessible from the top drop down menus and sub menus.
If you experience any problems with menus out of place etc in Internet Explorer, try to view the website in
’compatibility’ mode which can be accessed on the right of the top address bar by clicking on the icon that looks like
a set of jagged teeth.
As new features are released to us, we will be implementing them on a ’live system’. If you encounter any problems,
please just email me at [email protected]. The club facebook page may be accessed from the Footer Menu.
To submit Online Club Night
entries - click on the “Online
Club Night Entries” icon on
the homepage .
Although the
website is up and
running, there
are a number of
tasks to be done
before our new
ICT system
ClubLANE is fully
operational i.e.
online member-
ships etc.
Thank you to the
following commit-
tee members who
have been work-
ing with Swim-
ming NSW to
achieve this :

If you would like to learn about gaining a Technical Official credential please talk to Karen Hope. Things to remember:
* New Technical Officials are always in demand.
* Technical Officials provide the swimming community with a precious gift - time.
* Without Technical Officials there will be no swim meets and the swimmers have no competition.
* Every time you work at a swim meet you help young Australians achieve their goals and stay healthy.
Why not obtain an official credential for the work you do when volunteering?
Please support our Christmas Guessing
Competition by bringing in a few items to
put towards making up some Christmas
Hampers.
More information on page 4 or talk to Sue
Cornish.
Special recognition to
Rachel Heaslip and
Sue Heaslip who were
named by Swimming
NSW as having recently
achieved their
Timekeeper
accreditation.
