OBJECTIVEEvaluate cotton yield response to TIGER 90CR sulphur (0-0-0-90 S).
TRIAL DETAILSIndependent third party researchers conducted 34 field trials in three states over three years.
SUMMARY Applications of TIGER 90CR resulted in an average yield increase of 161 lbs./ac compared to control fields where no
sulphur was applied.
TIGER 90CR fits well into a 4R nutrient management program. The gradual conversion from elemental sulphur to plant-available sulphate will help ensure better season-long nutrient uptake, which is critical for higher yields and better returns on your soil fertility investment.
TIGER sulphur maximizes nitrogen utilization.
A complete fertility program is critical to achieving optimum cotton yields and maximum profit.

Overview A key factor in cotton development and yield is a soil fertility management program that includes sufficient sulphur.
Sulphur is a key component of amino acids contributing to protein synthesis and is involved in enzymes and other plant metabolism processes.
Cotton will use approximately 15 lbs. of sulphur per bale of cotton harvested. An ample supply of sulphur needs to be available for uptake, as the cotton plant requires it throughout the growing season.
In situations where higher rates of nitrogen are applied, adequate sulphur is necessary to maximize nitrogen uptake and utilization. Plant tissue analysis can be used to monitor nutrient status within the plant and prevent hidden hunger. Consult with a professional agronomist or local university for guidance for your specific production area.
