Over the last decade, the Rotman School has transformed
from an aspiring, but relatively small, regional player into
Canada’s only globally-relevant business school and has
become the leading business school in Canada. Rotman is
the only school in Canada with a faculty and student body
that is both large enough and of high enough quality to be
able to compete with the world’s leading business schools.
This year we have the largest, most international and most
academically qualified class in our history. Our students
are the world’s best and brightest, out–of-the-box thinkers who build the strength
of our human capital. Thanks to the generosity of our award donors, the business
community, alumni and friends, we can acknowledge the exceptional scholarship
of our students and reduce the financial commitment of business education.
The Resource Capital Funds Award, the Village Orthodontics Award in Business,
and the Risa Goldberg Memorial Scholarship for Women in Capital Markets are
three new awards that are providing a total of 3.6 million dollars of financial support
this year. These awards are developing graduates who have the values and skills
that businesses need to innovate, succeed and create positive change in the future.
Congratulations to the award recipients and thank you to our award donors.
