Technology Alliance & MobileIron Integration Overview DATALERT! synchronizes a setting within MyTem360 and MobileIron’s policy manager to manage and enforce data access policy:
- Disabling the usage of the data on the device - Enabling the usage of the data on the device
Configuration Requirements: 1. For DATALERT! & MyTEM360, you’ll need the following information:
1.1 Login/pwd of a MyTem360 user DATALERT! And MDM Management module must be accessible for that user.
1.2 VSP server URL For instance: de.mobileiron.net/Saaswedo
1.3 Protocol used by the server SSL or not
1.4 Login/pwd of a VSP user with the following roles User Portal API 1.5 Login/pwd of a generic enrollment user
Encode these information’s in the settings module and perform a validation. Note: If the MobileIron VSP is in the cloud the certificate gets imported without any action from Saaswedo team. If the MobileIron VSP is on premise Saaswedo support need to import the certificate.
2. Configuring the MobileIron VSP
2.1 Create two Labels: Roaming disabled & Roaming enabled
ROAMING ENABLED
ROAMING DISABLED
2.2 Create two Lockdown Policies
Disable Roaming « Roaming Data » property must be disabled in that policy
Enable Roaming « Roaming Data » property must be enabled in that policy
2.3 Apply Label Roaming disabled to the policy Disable Roaming Apply Label Roaming enabled to the policy Enable Roaming

Technical Troubleshooting
A. The synchronization with the VSP is not working The credential of the VSP needs to be checked. The VSP is “on premise” and you need to inform Saaswedo support so they import the certificate.
B. If the Device doesn’t get downloaded from the VSP
The Device might not be enrolled with a cellphone number or with a valid cellphone number. Only device with a valid cellphone number are synchronized from the VSP. Format number: +32 496 638665
C. The icon of “Device synchronized” doesn’t appear. ( upper left blue corner)
The device might have been encoded manually inside Datalert but is not present inside the VSP.
D. If Datalert cannot be activated on the device: The cellphone number might not be correctly received/encoded inside Datalert. The cellphone number might not be correctly encoded inside the Datalert App on the device. (National format to encode with the “0”)
E. I didn’t receive any PIN code for the activation of Datalert on my device
Re-deploy the service from Datalert module
F. The PIN code that I received is not working The PIN code is only valid during 3minutes. Re-start the deployment by activating the service from Datalert module.
G. The blocking of the Data is not working.
Check inside your VSP if the labels & policies (for Android device) are correctly configured. For IOS device the function used is the “built-in” function inside the VSP. For Android device: Check inside “Label Membership” tab if the labels are applied
For IOS device: Check the value of the “device details” DataRoamingEnabled
H. The consumption on my device seems to me abnormal. If you’re using the same phone number for your cellphone and your tablet both consumption adds up.
I. The last time Datalert on the device sent information was X days ago. The App might be turned off. Send a notification/SMS on the device to alert the user and request the re-activation of the App on the device
