Linter Architects is a corporate member of Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA),
Botswana Architects Association (BAA) and South African Council for the Architectural
Profession (SACAP), registered as a Consulting firm in Architecture and Project
Management. The Firm was registered first in Botswana in 2008 and later on
incorporated as a Limited Company in Zambia in 2014. The practice is growing from
strength to strength by offering professional services in the areas of Architectural
Design and Management, Town and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning,
Project Management, and other development associated services. These services
have been diligently offered to a wide clientele base in various parts of Zambia and
Botswana.
Linter Architects was formed for consultancy in development projects and real estate
investment, especially those that promote green architecture. In association with Thorn
Park Construction Training School, the firm has an agreement to provide “green design
solutions” to developers under the International Labour Organization ‘GREEN JOBS’
programme. The company provided the eco-design for the award winning Kalumbila
Green Housing Project where earth materials are used for construction. Furthermore,
the firm was awarded a ‘gold medal’ by United States Corp of Engineers for a
sustainable architecture design of a Lukasa Boys Boarding School in Kafue district of
Zambia.
The company is equipped with the latest technological tools that allows successful
delivery of projects. The firm is also investing in a fleet of vehicles to ensure that
management of project is efficiently carried out irrespective of the project location. The
staffing levels are good to meet the daily demands of clients.
Linter Architects Limited has four strategic offices in Gaborone (Botswana); Palapye
(Botswana); Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Lusaka (Zambia).

Linter Architects:
The Directors of the Company include:-
Sydney Ngoma (BArch, M.Eng, R.Eng, MZIA) - Registered Architect with Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA) and civil Engineer with Engineering Institute of Zambia. He has 14 years of experience. He has a long record of practice in his profession in Zambia. He is also a Certified Member of Project Management Institute.
Terryson Himayumbula (BArch, Msc, SACAP, MAAB) - Registered Architect with South African Council of architectural Profession and Botswana Institute of Architects (BIA). He has over 19 years of wide and varied experience. He has a long record of practice in his profession in Botswana and Zambia. He is also a Certified Member of Project Management Institute.
Muhetu Wachata (BArch, MZIA) - Registered Architect with Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA). He has over 7 years of wide and varied experience. He has a long record of practice in his profession in Zambia. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Project Management at the University of Zambia.

The Company
Linter Architect was registered and incorporated in Botswana in 2004 and in Zambia in 2014.
Objectives
The objective of the Consultancy is to provide professional services of the highest international standard to firms and individuals engaged in development-related activities in Zambia and the region. To this end we are committed to working from our base in Zambia, using and bringing together the best available local skills and knowledge wherever and whenever appropriate. We are also committed to computer technology as the means of maintaining international standards of service, and we are
equipped with the latest technology, including Computer Aided Design (CAD), communications, graphics and general office software.
Facilities
Linter Architects operates from a purpose oriented office in the Lusaka’s Woodlands Area, along Mushakashela Road on Plot No. 21381, Lusaka. The office surroundings are peaceful, attractive and equipped.
Equipment and Resources
Linter Architects is fully equipped with its own computers, and all necessary general office equipment. We have the following in-house resources immediately available for the benefit of our clients as required:-
IT specialist and administrative support personnel. Full range of word processing, spreadsheet, data-base, data analysis,
communications and graphics software. General office equipment - copier, binder, fax, printers, scanner etc. Full CAD facilities, compatible with all major CAD systems, AutoCad Architecture
2015, Revit Architecture 2015, Prokon Structural Annalysis and Survey equipment, digital camera and camcorders. Laser and Colour printers / A1 colour plotter. Transport - owns 2No. conventional and 2No. 4-wheel drive vehicles. Through our
associates we also have access to a large fleet of vehicles of every type. Field facilities - through our associates we have access to logistical support and facilities in virtually every province and district in Zambia.
Architectural & Project Management Services
Architectural projects are directed by the directors who are registered architects in Zambia with over ten years of experience in architectural practice in the region. In
addition to the Senior architects/Directors, Linter also employs 4 qualified Zambian architects and 2 Architectural Assistants.
Project Management on all projects is directed by S Ngoma and Terry H , who are registered Project Managers with Project Management institute. He has over Five years of experience in architectural and project management works.
From time to time, we also engage freelance professional staff, and through them we can if required provide additional services, such as landscape design, model making, town planning, interior design, graphic design, and artists impressions. Buildwild Consultancy is therefore able to blend current international practice standards, with local experience and knowledge. Our methods of executing projects are up to date with current modern technologies. Buildwild Consultancy can provide the full range of architectural, project management and cost control services from inception to completion, or partial services as required.
