The money raised from the sale of the tickets will go towards the cost of the company we employed to train our students (The Circus Crew), the equipment, the sound, the lighting, the staging and the costumes. We ask that all students wear dark or black clothing, this will form a base for the costumes that are provided. There is no need to go out and buy something new. LEARNING AND TEACHING
The classes are busy as we prepare for the Circus Crew performance. So far students have been introduced to a range of circus skills and equipment. Learning a new skill is not easy and this is a time when students need to have a growth mindset of “I can’t do that yet”. Students have been talking about the learning qualities of determination, persistence, questioning and reflecting that are vital when learning.
Here are some of the reports from our developing circus performers-
We are learning to use the diablos. During our sessions we also do hula Hoops, devil sticks, spinning plates and juggling.
At first everyone was flabbergasted at how hard these tricks were and the amount we had to learn. We can throw up and catch the diablo. We can balance on one foot. We can do the waterfall technique.
Now we have learnt the tricks it is about keeping it consistent and working to make this a fabulous show. We will never forget the day we first got the diablos working. Lola and Clara.

PARENT ASSOCIATION
Our weekly recap-OSHC
This week children participated in lots of different activities
planned and unplanned. We also watched movie this week due to
poor weather. Children made beautiful origami flowers in art and
craft. Last week, children invented a new group game called “our
family” where they all were running from one corner to another
in order to get some hidden treasures. This game was super hit
game for whole week. Our cute preppies enjoyed it a lot.
Moreover, it was great to see that our senior children were
teaching some outdoor games to our prep children. Now our
preppies know how to play down ball, soccer, basketball and
many more games. Our lego masters built lot of new things in lego
such as Harry potter house, diamonds, building, crown and
animals. They are super talented! So, overall, last week every
child was busy in different activities and they all had very good
time.
