serve, kindly contact Marian Corak in the Parish Office at
[email protected] or 613.728.9811 x880.
SERVANTS OF THE CROSS NEWSLETTER
The latest Servants of the Cross New Wine newsletter is ready
for you to enjoy! Pick up a copy and experience a little of the
Sisters’ lives. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue
to spread the love of Christ to all His people.
FROM YOUR ADORATION CHAPEL COMMITTEE
Thank you to those who have responded to our appeal for
Committed Adorers. We need two Committed Adorers for
every hour to continue our current schedule of Exposition of
Jesus in The Blessed Sacrament. Even if you already have
one committed hour, please consider taking a second hour on
another day ... up to seven hours per week.
Members of the Adoration Chapel team will be available after
the 9:00am and 11:00am masses on Sundays to enroll any-
body — couples, families, singles, friends — who are interested
in making a commitment to spend one hour per week or more
with our Lord in our Beautiful Adoration Chapel ... who waits
for us there.
For people in ministry already: why not ask your team mem-
bers to share an hour in adoration with you? Your ministry will
benefit from the prayers of two or more gathered in his name.

WERE YOU WONDERING ?.
Were you wondering why we cancelled our day of prayer and
vigil at the abortuary?
Our time coincided with the week the government of Ontario
passed a law banning protests outside abortion clinics. The
law creates picket-free ‘bubble’ zones of between 50 and 150
metres around abortion facilities; inside those zones, no one
can stage an anti-abortion protest, advise a woman not to get
an abortion, or intimidate or interfere with people passing in
and out of a clinic. The bubble expands to a full 150 metres
around the homes of people who work in these clinics.
But prayer and fasting for an end to abortion cannot be legis-
lated against. So remember this intention in your petitions to
Our Lady when you pray your rosary.
