Becausesummerreadingismeanttoberelaxingandfun,therearenorequirementsforthereadingclubs.KidsandteensareencouragedtoexploretheLibrary’smanycollectionsandreadwhateverappealstothem–whetherit’sgraphicnovels,earlyreaders,pop-ularseriesfiction,ornon-fictionbooksonaplethoraofsubjects.Childrentooyoungtoreadbythemselvesmayhaveanadultoroldersiblingreadtothem.Membersaregivenreadinglogsandbookbagsuponjoiningandareurgedtorecordwhateverorhowmuchtimetheyread.Listeningtobookscounts,too!TheLibraryhasPlayaways,audio-books,andbook-cassettesthatprovidehoursoflisteningpleasure.Additionally,therearepuppets,musicCD’s,magazines,andvideosforallagestoenjoy.
