descriptionTheInterpoint®SMRTSeries™ofDC-DCconvertersoffersupto35wattsofpowerinaradiationtolerantdesign.ThelowprofileSMRTconvertersaremanufacturedinourfullycertifiedandqualifiedMIL-PRF-38534ClassKproductionfacilityandpackagedinhermeticallysealedsteelcases.Theyareidealforuseinprogramsrequiringhighreliability,smallsize,andhighlevelsofradiationhardnessassurance.
TheSMRTconvertersareswitchingregulatorswhichuseatwo-phase,phaseshiftedflybackdesignwithanominalswitchingfrequencyof300kHz.Tightregulationismaintainedwithadvancedconstantfrequencypulsewidthmodulationdesigntechniques.TheSMRT’sfeed-forwardcompensationanddiscontinuoustopologiesprovidehighlevelsofinput-to-outputripplerejection.SeeFigure10onpage29,Figure29andFigure30onpage33andFigure45andFigure46onpage36.
Twoindependentfeedbackloopsareusedtoregulatethedualandtripleoutputs,onefeedbackloopregulatesthetwo-phasedsingleoutput.Eachsetofoutputsiselectricallyisolatedfromtheotherandfromtheinput.Thisproductconfigurationeliminatescrossregulationeffectsbetweenoutputsets.
