Sixth Form Open Evening
There was a very warm welcome to our visitors, who attended our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday night. Students were able to find out about the courses we have on offer and get a taste of what life is like for a Cowes Enterprise College Sixth Form student. All subjects offered were represented so that our visitors could
talk to staff and students about the qualifications, style of work involved and what is required to be successful. Mr
Peckham delivered a presentation and there was information available about the new A level marine career /
high –performance pathway.
There were tours of the sixth form facilities and the feedback we received from the large number of visitors was very
positive. One parent said “We have had a lovely evening; my daughter is spoilt for choice. I really like the new Marine
pathway option, I would have loved it to have been available when my son was going into year 12”.
A massive thank you to Mrs Ramsey for organising the event and to all of the teachers and Sixth Form students who
stayed late to help out. There are pictures of the event on the next two pages. If you require any further information or
a prospectus then please get in contact with Reception on 01983 203103.
