Slug flow
Slug flow is an example of a flow regime in between. Both gas and liquid velocities are mediocre. Slug flow is representing both separation and mixing. Slug flow
is consequently referred to as an intermittent flow regime. Characterized with big bubble of gas
followed by a number of small bubbles.
