The St. Nicholas Festival held on Saturday, December 7 was a great success and Santa Claus and St. Nicholas made personal appearances. Many thanks to all our volunteers that worked so hard to put this event together. The St. Cecilia Parish Community appreciates you!
The St. Cecilia luncheon for widows and widowers was well attended and good food and conversation were enjoyed by all! The event began with noon Mass and then moved to Conger Hall for a catered lunch by “That’s a Some” of Poulsbo. We hope to host this event again next year.

Student Prayers Each student reflected, brainstormed, created a draft,
edited their piece, wrote the final prayer and read it at their family Thanksgiving meal. By engaging in these habits of learning, students’ voices are heard (EMBRACE), they fully experience the writing process (EDUCATE), and they live their faith by expressing gratitude (EMPOWER). Below are excerpts from student written prayers:
God, help me be the oldest sibling. Catherine, 1st
God please help me with my math and with cleaning my room. Kristin, 1st God I know you exist when the sun rises and sets. Wyatt, 2nd
