2 Mini Biography
Stanislav Pejovic, Prof., PhD, P Eng. Stanislav Pejovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Belgrade, and served in various positions including as Professor for the Department of Mechanical Engineering, chair for Hydraulic Machines and Energy Systems, Fac. of Mech. Eng., and Head of Hydraulic Energy Dept, and Chair and Member of Board of Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Pejovic has served as Principal Investigator and Project Manager, Department of Mechanics, Mathematical Institute of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, in Belgrade. Dr. Pejovic has been teaching at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University since 2002, lecturing on specialized subjects related to energy, design of power plants, thermodynamics, physics, fluid mechanics, and hydraulic transient analysis (waterhammer, vibrations, hydraulic vibrations, stability, resonance in technical systems and human blood vessels). He has also been Visiting Professor at the University of Singapore, Hong Kong, Sarajevo and Skopje, Nis, to name a few. His more than 200 publications have been referred in more than 250 articles and books.
In February 2016 Prof. Pejovic was nominated as independent Expert, by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in an Arbitration Dispute Resolution (ADR). He was mandated to provide an Independent Expert Report to the Arbitral Tribunal

Prof. Pejovic specializes in research, development, design, construction, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and review of electric plants, hydraulic systems, pumps and turbines as well as the complex thermal and nuclear plant systems. He is the author of several books and text books on vibrations, hydraulic transients, White Paper on Hydro Energy Storage, and a co-author of "The Guide to Hydropower Mechanical Design", prepared by ASME Hydro Power Technical Committee, as well as "Guidelines to Hydraulic Transient Analysis". A consulting engineer on design, construction, on-site and model tests of power plants and computer simulation of transient and hydraulic vibration of many systems, Dr. Pejovic has been involved in troubleshooting in the US, Indonesia, Canada, Iran, and the former Yugoslavia. Today, Dr. Pejovic is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
Supported by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Prof. Pejovic spent two years in Germany at the University of Braunschweig, and University of Hannover.
