ETAP on XP running on 7 64bit
• If – You have Old version of ETAP that running on 32bit w
indows – You have core i3,i5,i7 PC support 64bit OS with mem
ory >4GB
• but – 32bit ETAP can not run on 64bit – install 32bit OS can not maximize the capability of PC
• So?– You can install a virtual PC
Why?
• What is virtual PC?– Virtual PC are software that emulate PC hard
ware for example: VMWare, virtualbox, qemu, etc
– I prefer virtualbox because it free and good
• How to install ETAP ?
Virtual PC
Preparation
• PC with OS 64bit, Mac, or Linux
• Harddisk space minimum 10GB
• Win 32 bit, I prefer XP
• ETAP CD
• Internet connection, to download extension pack (guest addition)
