CAPITAL ROBOTICS
Fusion Arc Weld Cells We have re-engineered our cell from the ground up, starting with the base of the unit, which uses
slotand-tab construction to provide a very rigid foundation. This minimizes resonance, which enables
the Fusion Arc Cell to take advantage of the new FD’s unmatched speeds. Capital Robotics offers a
selection of pre-configured Cells that are engineered as a complete solution for a host of applications.
Fusion Arc designates our family of cells available in a range of sizes and configurations, These
preengineered systems provide a fully enclosed environment that remains functional, flexible and
meets most safety requirements while remaining very cost-effective. Each cell is available with a host
of productivity options and the space-saving design makes for easy placement and relocation in your
manufacturing area.

FD Teach Pendant:
The FD Teaching Pendant is 27% lighter and 40% smaller than our
previous model, making tight spaces a non-issue and teaching sessions
easier.
Simple Backup
With this feature, you can now back up all data directly from the teach
pendant. We have included a USB memory slot to make backing up data
quick and easy.
Welding Condition Guide Function
This welding database will aid the user in coming up with welding
conditions based on plate thickness, joint type, and travel speed. Once
these presets are determined the voltage/current are automatically
calculated. The end results = optimal welding conditions.
Fluid Operation
Jog Dial makes scrolling through teaching programs, wire inching/retracting, and adjusting the wire
aiming position effortless. This intuitive feature grants seamless operation for multiple tasks.
One-Touch Access
The touch panel uses One-Touch Access for programming. This new function decreases amount of
keystrokes required to navigate through each menu.
Improved Screen Display
We have updated the screen to a 5.7 inch (640 x 480) LED
display capable of 60,000 colors. That is over 59,000 more
colors than the last model. This greatly improves readability,
clarity of characters, and all screen content.
Operation Buttons Icons
Each operation now has its own icon. This clarifies the action
of each button, thus simplifying each programming session
and making it easier.
Smooth Welding
Helps you find better welding conditions with one-touch operation.
CAPITAL ROBOTICS
FD11 ROBOT CONTROLLER:
Most Advanced Robot Controller
This controller is 21% lighter than our previous model. By reducing
the controllers height by 196mm and its depth by 100mm, the FD
Robot Controller has 20% less volume overall and allows for
additional clearance.
Electrical Efficiency
Power Conservation mode comes standard. With it, you can reduce
your power consumption by up to 50%. When the controller is not in
use for a period of time, the fans shut down and the, teach pendant
back light shuts off, allowing the user to conserve energy. The power Conservation mode
settings are fully adjustable by the user. We have included and external signal allowing for
additional energy conservation.
Minimal Maintenance
The FD Robot Controller includes 30% fewer parts than previous model, thus reducing your spare parts
inventory. We have also included a new component called the Ethernet Servo Link. This allows you to
link two robots together, eliminating the hardware connection and cabling.
Refined Operability
A new standard in our FD series is the Torch Shift Function. This function dramatically reduces the
teaching workload by letting the user shift the torch position in the entire welding section by either
posture, or in XYZ.
High Performance Movement
Increased the robot controller processing speed to quickly detect the weld start signals. This means a
drop in arc start failures, and an ability to achieve high quality bead appearance.
Residual vibration has been reduced by approximately 66%; because of this drastic reduction, high
speed approaches are now possible.
Intelligent Troubleshooting and Trace Options.
When a welding error occurs, the data can be backed up allowing you to detect the problem faster.
You can now choose your method of detecting/tracing..
Tractability can either be viewed on the teach pendant or on a PC with FD-AM (arc Monitor) software.

Torch Cleaning & Cutting Stations
Nozzle Cleaning Station
Is an automatic spatter removal and cleaning system for robotic
welding torches. The cleankit holds the torch nozzle firmly in place
while a motor directs a precision-machined reamer to remove spatter
from the inside of the nozzle.
Periodic spatter removal between welds can help prevent porosity,
reduction of gas flow and the possibility of a short circuit between the
inner torch and the gas nozzle. Other benefits include less downtime
for nozzle maintenance, consistent weld quality, reduction in torch
damage and longer life for consumables. A heated anti-spatter dip can
support is included.
Nozzle Cleaning & Wire Cutting Station
Combines reaming with wire cutting and adds a wire brush for
spatter removal from the outside of the nozzle as well.
An anti-spatter dip can support is included.
Wire Cutter
Is designed to remove the ball at the end of the welding wire
providing consistent wire stick-out. This feature provides superior arc
starting and prevents oxidation in weld starts and is especially helpful
in applications where touch sensing is needed to help find part
locations.
