Genesis 1 for first class and books will be handed out at that class meeting.
The Scouts are sponsoring our Community
Blood Drive on Thursday, July 21, 2016 3pm – 8pm in Branham Hall. Please call
the church office to schedule your appointment. BBQ, chips and drinks will be served to each donor. The American
Red Cross has issued an EMERGENCY ALERT to the public requesting blood
donors to give blood. We are at low levels and need everyone to participate in
donating blood. What this means for the public blood supply is that we are not able
to keep up with the demand that the hospitals need to help the patients who
are in need of blood products.
Prayer Focus: June 5th: “Lord, at this time I am not willing (to devote more time to you), but I am willing to be made willing.” June 12th: “Transform my weaknesses into strengths.” June 19th: “How can my home better reflect the values of God’s kingdom?” June 26th: “Lord, when life becomes broken and messy, help us to give it to You.” July 3rd: “Lord Jesus, help me make a difference.” July 10th: “Help me to help the next person I will meet.” July 17th: “Help me to get my values straight.”
We want to thank BB&T for their
generous donation of food items to the
Kids’ Backpack Program. We appreciate
Denise Dobbs and the other employees
at our local branch.
Register now for preschool! Forms are available online
and in the church office.
