Retractable Roofing System Insulated Glass, RRG,utilisesdoubleglazedglassof thicknessupto29mmreducingheatgainandair-conditioningloads.Thetworoofsystems,RRPandRRG,aresimilarinoveralldesignbutvaryincomponentryandengineeringspecifications.
Dependingonthesituation,spananddesignpreference,singleordoublepitchretractableroofoptionsareavailable.

On the coast at Istanbul, Turkey, this retractable roof spans 6.6m by 16.3m and utilises a glass glazing to a spectacular effect.
6.1 MOTORISATION
MOTORSforRetractableRoofPolycarbonate(RRP)
The driving force behind the Libart Retractle Roof SolaGlide system is sophisticatedmotorisation. The automated motor system must measure up to rigorous engineering andelectricalstandards,providetechnologyfortheinstaller,comfortfortheuserandsimplicitytouse.
SomfymotorsmanufacturedinFrancerecentlycelebratedproductionandtestingof100millionmotors.
The SOMFY ALTUS range of RTS tubularmotors are certified and carry a 5 yearwarranty. The motor has a build in radioreceiver with Somfy’s controlling code forRTS control. The Altus RTS allows the userto operate the retractable roof with theconvenienceofaremotecontrol.
Once installed in the Libart retractable roof,themotors,connectionandwiringareneatlyhidden to preserve the aesthetics of theLibart retractable roof. A functional singleconnectorforpowersupplyprovidesasimpleandreliableelectricalsolution.
Theloadcalculationsarebasedonthemotors“housed”ina70mmoctagonalcasing.

• Removeleavesordirtfromthetopoftheretractableroofsystem,hosedowntheglazing withwaterinthedirectionoftheslope.Donotspraythewaterunderthepanels.
• Donotusesharporabrasiveobjectsormaterialsontheglazingortheprofiles.
• Neverusesolvents,abrasivecleaners,chemicalsorscrubbingagentsonanyofthe surfacesoftheroofglazingandprofiles.Allsolventscanpotentiallydamagepowder coatedandanodisedsurfaces.Ifcleaningbysolventisrequired,methylatedspiritsor mineralturpentinemaybeusedprovidedasmalltestspotshowsnodamage. Testcarefullybeforeuse.
