Principle: To bring the far point of the patient to the peephole of retinoscope

Reflexes
Speed and brightness: when aprroching near neutralization the speed of movement will be very fast and it will brighter too
Width of reflex: the width of reflex will be broader and broader when you are nearing to the neutral point

l Examiner sittiing angle is more than 5 degree from visual axis of the patient
