17 ActivityinEurope
TheactivityinEurope,atthemoment,ishighly“scattered”amongseveralindependentgroups.
Some have real breaktrough ideas/experiments, at laboratory level. Some activities also in:
Switzerland(NicolasChauvin);Germany-Polandcollaboration(ArminHukeandCollaborators);
Ukraina (V. Vistosky), focused mainly on biological transmutation. Sadly, the Russian
Colleagues (historically extremely active, over 90 Res.) didn’t join the ICCF20 Conference
becauseofseverebudgetlimitations.RecentlyAarhusUniv.,Denmark,startedstudies.
18 Italy.
HistoricallyItalywasoneofthemostactivecountries,afterJapanandUSA.
From some years, sadly, happened a “heavy opposition to any kind of LENR studies” by some of the
decisionmakersatscientificlevel(Directorand/orPresidentofInstitutes).Scientificdocumentshaveeven
beendestroyed,inaspecificLaboratory,including“LogBook”,chemicalreagentsandancillaryinstruments.
Luckily,severalPoliticians, independently fromtheirpoliticalgroupaffiliations,havebecomemoreopen-
minded!E.G.:over8“Parliamentaryquestions”,promotingLENRactivities,werefiled(inthe last3years)
bothatLowerandHigherHouseofItalianParliament.
Toreinforceoneofthe“Parliamentaryquestions”,35official“reminders”werefiledinordertogetareply

19 Groups still now active (team leader, number of people involved, technical included, full
time=FT,part-time:PT),methodologiesandmainfieldofinterest,areasfollowing:
a) F. Celani (3FT, 10PT),Gov.Agency (INFN,butnobudget support) andPriv. Lab. Studied

b) A. Carpinteri (4FT+6PT). Technical University of Turin. Looking to neutrons, charged

waste(especiallyHg).
e) U.Mastromatteo (2FT,1PT).PrivateLaboratoryalsocollaboratingwithan International,
High-Tech, Company. Studies on powders, thin films and wires of Pd and Constantan.

Furtherworkisinprogress.
23 Swedish-Iceland-Norway
Main group is leadby Prof. LeifHolmlid atGothenburgUniversity (SE). They introduced the
ideaofclustersofUltraDenseDeuterium(socalledultra-denseRydbergmatter)usingproper
catalyst (FeXOydopedbyK,onPt-Ir“substrate”).Localdensityofclusters isupto10kg/cm3,
equivalent to a interatomic distance of about 2.3pm. Table-top high peak power Laser for
controlled stimulation. Some experimental results really intriguing and in agreement with
observationsmadebyotherResearchersusingdifferentmethodologiesorapproaches.
NB. All the Researchers, using FeXOy doped by K, were “inspired” by the
severalprocedures(mostofthemfullyreproducible)developedduring1920-
1945fromProff.Fischer-Tropsch(inGermany;laterWWIIinotherCountries)
toproducesyntetic liquidgasolinestartingfromC,H2,waterandironbased
catalyst.
24 France
Apart from the very useful systematic work by Mathieu Valat and his Collaborators to
debunk/improveexperimentsmadefromthirdparties(MartinFleischmannMemorialProject),
intheframeworkofLiveOpenScienceapproach,otheractiveResearchersare:
*J.P.Biberian(andCollaborators):nanomaterialsat“mean”(200-400°C)temperaturesandin-
deep analysis/reproduction/improvement of some historical experiments of the field (e.g.
Icarus-9test,madebyFleischmann-Ponsaround1998).
*J.Dufour(andCollaborators).HewasoneofthefirstResearchertointroduce,morethan15
yearsago,theideaofPicno-deuterium,i.e.ultradense.Someresults,aboutAHEdensity(W/g),
quiteimpressive.Furtherworksneededtoincreasereproducibilityoftheniceresultsobtained.
25 Oxy-hydrogen
• GasHHO,accordingtoacurrenttheory,isamixtureofmonatomicanddiatomichydrogen
and oxygens produced by a similar design of the electrolyser that splits water into its
variouscomponents.Effectsarefullyreproducible.
• Oxy hydrogen has a plethora of unusual characteristics that seem to defy current
chemistry.Ithasacoolflame(130°C),butindeeditisabletomeltsteel,brick,manyother
metalsorceramics.Inotherwords,althoughitsapparenttemperatureisjust130°C,itcan
meltelementswithfusiontemperaturesofover3000°C!!!
• One of the most active Researcher in Italy is Prof. Renato Burri (Perugia University).
Because of the STRANGE behaviour of HHO, there are several similarities with LENR
effects/problematics:wecollaboratetosolvesomecommonproblems.
26 CooperationPlan
Due to the innovative and revolutionarynatureof suchdiscovery, the cooperationplanhas to consider
alsothespecificinterest,botheconomicandstrategic,ofeachCountryinvolved.
Inmyopinion,atthemoment,thereare3possibilities:
1) CollaborationbetweenJapan-China-Indiabecauseofgeographicallocation.Mainfieldcouldbe
thetransmutationofevenradioactiveisotopes(atthemomentJapanisthemostadvanced,see
experimentsatMitsubishi)andAHEutilization.Tosuch3CountriesResearchersworldwide(e.g.
Italy,USA,….,)canbeaddedbecauseofbothpreviousfruitfulcollaborationsornew“offers”.
2) Extensionof the conceptof LiveOpenScience toALL the researches (atavoluntary/no-profit
basis)intheAHEfield,consideringthe,extremelyurgent,problemofClimateChangeduetothe
use of Carbon-based fuel (Carbon, Oil, Methane, LPG,…): in these days we got definitive
informationthatCO2concentrationintheatmospherewas>400ppMinyear2015.
