TheManitobaFirstNationsEducationResourceCentrewillprovidesupport tooneschool tohost thewinter festivalbringing studentsand staff fromhigh schoolandmiddleyearswhichwilloffer culturaland land-based activities for students and staff. The three-day event involves cooperative gamesdesigned to challenge the skills embedded within land-based education. The selected school for theproposedgatheringarerecommendedtobeheldthelastweekofFebruaryorfirstweekofMarch.

MFNERCwillprovidecostssuchaspromotionalmaterials,schools/studenttransportationsubsidy,dailymeals/catering, Elder honoraria, equipment and supplies for cultural games and some in-kindcontributiontotheselectedhostschool.

TheFirstNationSchoolisrequestedtosubmitaproposalbyincludingthefollowinginformation:
