It was about 8 in the morning. The airsported the sound of hoots and therhythm of boots. The colorful arrange-ment of marchers stood firmly on theground, basking in the warmth of theJanuary sunlight. The morning wasyoung, as it always is. There seemedto be a sense of excitement and joyfulimpatience throughout the campus. This was the atmosphere at KristuJayanti College on the 24th of January2015, as it commenced its annualsports meet, ‘Kridotsava 2015’.Kridotsava is the largest fest of the col-lege. This is not just a one or two dayfest. The path for this grand venture in-volved various prelims and challengingrounds for different sports events, which began a month prior to the finalshowdown. It is also the first and themost major event of the even semes-ter, igniting a wonderful light for theevents that come after.A highlight of this year’s meet that can-not be overlooked is the presence of arenowned individual, Shri Sachin SBalwadi, a winner of the Kempagowda

We battleour way through competitions to win.Winners, at the end, steal the show. This year’s Annual Sports Meet hadmany winners from different teams.Everyone fought hard in their march to-wards victory. But only one team stoodapart and made it to the top: The Ban-galuru Bulls. The team bagged theover-all trophy and proved to be thechampions that they were. This was a memorable day for a lot ofpeople. To participate, watch or involvein sports always brings a feeling of un-explainable nostalgia. For most of us itreminds of our childhood, where life ismuch simpler and carefree.
